Who can use ZapZoop

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms for you. You are responsible for your Google account and for what happens when you are signed in to ZapZoop.

Your licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use ZapZoop on Android devices you own or control, under these terms and the Google Play Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.

Your content

Your videos, photos and the videos you make with ZapZoop are yours. They are edited on your device and we don't receive them. You are responsible for having the rights to the media you use and for what you publish, including music, people and places that appear in it.

Content we provide

ZapZoop includes stickers, fonts, filters, effects, music, sound effects and other assets. You may use them in videos you create with ZapZoop and publish those videos anywhere, including on monetised social media accounts. You may not extract, resell or redistribute these assets on their own, or use them to build a competing product. Some fonts and assets are provided under their own open licences.

GIF stickers come from GIPHY and are subject to GIPHY's terms. Their creators keep their rights.

Videos exported without Pro carry a small ZapZoop watermark and end card.

Acceptable use

Don't use ZapZoop to create or share content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, harasses people, or is sexually explicit involving minors, and don't try to break, overload or get around the app's protections or paywall.

ZapZoop Pro

Pro unlocks watermark-free exports and premium content. It is sold through Google Play as:

• Weekly: ₹19 / $0.99 / week, renews automatically
• Monthly: ₹69 / $2.99 / month, renews automatically, with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers
• Yearly: ₹599 / $19.99 / year, renews automatically, with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers
• Lifetime: ₹1,499 / $39.99 (one-time purchase)

Prices are launch prices in India and the US. Google Play shows the price for your country, including any taxes, before you buy, and that is the price you pay.

Subscriptions and free trials

• Google Play charges your payment method at the start of each period. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
• With a 3-day free trial, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Trials are for new subscribers only.
• Cancel any time in Google Play: Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ZapZoop → Cancel. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. After cancelling, you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
• If we change a subscription's price, Google Play tells you in advance and, where required, asks you to accept the new price.

Lifetime

Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro for as long as ZapZoop and Pro are offered, on Android devices signed in with the same Google account. It is personal and can't be transferred.

Changes and availability

We keep improving ZapZoop and may add, change or remove features and content. We try to keep the app available, but it may sometimes be interrupted. ZapZoop needs an internet connection. If we ever stop offering Pro, we will give reasonable notice in the app.

Ending your use

You can stop using ZapZoop and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we do so without good reason while you have a paid subscription or Lifetime, we will refund the unused part.

Disclaimers

ZapZoop is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those stated in these terms, including about uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose. Keep copies of media you care about; we can't recover projects stored on your device.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or opportunities. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Disputes

If something goes wrong, please contact us first. Most problems can be solved quickly by email. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use ZapZoop after a change means you accept the updated terms.
